Tickets will be sold using an Electronic Raffle System (ERS).
Tickets can be purchased online with a credit card-only purchase.
There will be a guaranteed $200,000 minimum payout OR 50% of ticket sales (whichever is greater).
The maximum number of tickets available is 766,020.
Persons must be 18 years of age to purchase a ticket and the name of a person under 18 years of age may not be written on the ticket due to requirements of the Public Trustee Act.
All ticket purchases are final, refunds are not available.
Prize winnings will be issued by lottery cheque.
Ticket sales are restricted to within Alberta. Restrictions apply.
Only tickets that have been paid for and verified as paid for, are eligible for the respective draw.
Ticket sales will begin at 12:00 AM on June 1, 2021, and end at midnight, June 30, 2021, or when tickets sell out.
Winning ticket numbers will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system.
The Early Bird deadline is midnight, June 15, 2021.
The draw for the Early Bird prize will commence at 11:00 AM and take place on June 16, 2021. The Early Bird prize will be one cash prize for $10,000.
The Final ticket sales deadline is midnight, June 30, 2021.
The draw for the Final deadline will commence at 11:00 AM on July 2, 2021. The Grand Prize will be 50% of the gross sales, with a guaranteed minimum prize of $200,000.
The winning ticket number will be posted online at MightyMillions5050.com.
The draw(s) will take place at the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation office: #800, 8215 112th Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T6G 2C8.
At least two executive members (or delegates) of the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation will be present to witness all draws. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, draws will not be open to the public.
The draws will be made as stated. An extension of draw dates or cancellation of the raffle would only be requested from Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis in the unlikely event of a natural disaster or catastrophic event.
Unclaimed prizes: The winner has one year from the date of the draw to claim their prize. In the event a winner has not claimed their prize after a 12-month period from the applicable draw date and after several attempts have been made to contact that winner, then with AGLC approval that prize will be returned to the lottery management committee for use on approved proceeds by the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
The following, including their spouse and any related or dependent person residing in the same household, are prohibited from purchasing a ticket: Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation employees, board members, ERS service provider and their employees, the raffle manager and their employees and the partners and employees of TAP 50:50 Event Consultants Ltd.
In the event a winning ticket has more than one name on it, the prize will be awarded to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket, Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket.
Prize notification letter(s), along with winning ticket information, will be addressed to the primary ticket holder only and mailed to the address provided by the ticket purchaser. In the event that a winning ticket is held in more than one name, it is the responsibility of the primary ticket holder to share winning information with those parties.

Prize draws follow a strict set of procedures, with draw control oversight by the ERS Administrator and Tap 50:50 and under licensing approval by the licensing body (AGLC).
The winner must provide his/her name, address and phone number with picture identification. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
DETERMINATION OF OFFICIAL WINNER(S): Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation shall have the sole discretion to determine whether each Potential Winner is an official winner of a Prize (an “Official Winner”). Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation’s decision concerning the identity of all Official Winners shall be final and binding. To become an Official Winner: (1) a Potential Winner must be eligible to participate in the Raffle under these Official Rules and must not be in violation of these Official Rules as determined in Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation’s sole judgment; (2) that Potential Winner must contact the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation within one year of the applicable draw date as specified above.

The liability of the licensee of this lottery shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket(s).
After each draw, the winner’s name and ticket number are recorded and the ticket number remains eligible for all subsequent draws.
All inquiries as to the chances of winning and the method of awarding prizes can be made to the Licensee prior to purchase.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: The Released Parties (defined below under “RELEASE OF LIABILITY”) are not responsible for: (1) Entries which are stolen, lost, damaged, illegible, given away or no longer in the purchaser’s possession, (2) Entries that have been or may have been tampered with or re-sold in violation of these Official Rules; (3) Entries or payments that are delayed, misdirected, undelivered, not fully captured, or garbled as a result of any failure or problem whatsoever with the availability, functionality, operability or use of any network, server, ISP, website, computer, telephone, cable or satellite modem or connection, hand held mobile device or any other computer equipment or connection, whether or not caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by viruses, worms, or malfunctions affecting a network, server ISP or any equipment or programming used in or associated with the Raffle; (4) any other errors of any kind, whether human, typographical, printing, mechanical, or electronic in nature, which relate to or are connected with the Raffle (collectively, as described in clauses (1) through (4), “Errors”), including without limitation Errors in Raffle-related materials or in the administration of the Raffle, such as Errors in processing Entries, identifying Potential Winners, determining Official Winners, or announcing or delivering Prizes; or If any portion of the Raffle is compromised, in Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation’s sole judgment, by a virus, worm, bug, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation’s sole judgment, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Raffle, or the proper submission or capture of Entries (collectively, a “Compromising Event”), then Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend, modify or terminate the Raffle, and to select winners from all eligible, non-suspect Entries received before the known occurrence or discovery of such Comprising Event. All Entry purchases shall be final, and no refunds or replacements will be issued by Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation has the sole and final decision on the admissibility of entries and the determination of the prize winner.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: Entrants, by participating in the Raffle, agree that The Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and Tap 50:50, each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, partners, and advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, shareholders, members, consultants and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by Entrants against, any liability for injuries, losses, cost, expenses or damages of any kind, including damages for death, personal injury, property damage.
